The world-renowned Liz
Lerman Dance Exchange boasts a 30-year international history of art-making,
exploring the role of engaging the everyday individual in art-making processes,
and the function of dance as a memory device. "The body belongs in

The internationally treasured
Armenian music and dance troupe Sayat Nova Dance Company has since
1986 performed around the world in an effort to express the pride and indomitable
spirit of the Armenian people, and foster friendship across communities
worldwide. "... frantic and triumphant, with wailing melodies and
a frenzied, rolling drum beat." -- Watertown Tab, 2006
In Out of Darkness
the two groups perform together for the first time. They will provoke
and inspire us, with probing explorations of mass violence in our time
and a healing reflection on the scope of human compassion.
